Hi, I'm Grace. I make things for people.
I've dabbled in everything from branding and start-up strategy to furniture design and digital products. What excites me most is the messy middle— where research and intuition meet, and ideas are tested, broken apart, rebuilt, (broken a few more times) then refined to something real.
My background spans freelance projects, brand studios, non-profits, and start-ups, equipping me with a versatile toolkit that covers visual identity, UX research, prototyping, design thinking, and storytelling. At my core, I'm guided by curiosity and problem-solving— always seeking ways to make design not only look good, but feel meaningful, functional, and deeply human.
I completed my BFA in Art and Design with a minor in User Experience at the University of Michigan, where I developed a passion for intentional, mindful design. I currently work as a Creative Designer on the talented team at BasedOn brand & identity studio, where I build complete identities and activate them across every touchpoint.

Always up for good people and good problems.
I love meeting people who care about craft and aren't afraid of a messy, collaborative, experimental process. Whether it's a project, a collaboration, or just a conversation about design, my inbox is open.
